Answers to the most common questions about the server, the game and your account. Can't find yours - ask in the Discord community.
Connection and install
How do I connect to the server?
Install the Silvername.gg launcher, run it and press "Play" - it connects you automatically. Full walkthrough is on the Guide page.
Can I play without the launcher?
No. The launcher is required - it syncs the modpack version with the server automatically.
Which version of 7 Days to Die do I need?
The current stable Forward To Origins build. The exact build is shown in the launcher and updates automatically.
The launcher won't start or shows an error.
Check that the game is up to date and there are no conflicting mods. If the error keeps happening, drop a screenshot in the Discord community.
Why does the first connection take so long?
On the first run the game downloads all modpack assets - this can take 20-30 minutes depending on your internet and disk. Subsequent connections are fast.
Gameplay
Is the server PvP or PvE?
PvE. Players can't attack each other and your base is protected. The horde and raids are the main threat.
When do wipes happen?
Between seasons. Wipe dates are announced in advance on Discord and in site news.
What survives a wipe?
Nickname, statistics, total playtime and achievements. Inventory, base, level and perks reset.
Can I play with friends?
Yes. You can build a shared base, share loot and revive each other.
Are client mods supported?
Cosmetic only (UI/audio). Mods that affect gameplay or balance conflict with the server build and cause disconnects.
Account and Discord
How do I link Steam?
Site sign-in goes through Steam - just log into the account and linking is automatic.
How do I link Discord or Twitch?
In the account "Settings" tab press "Link Discord" or "Link Twitch". After auth your profile shows up on the account card.
Can I change my nickname?
The nickname syncs from Steam. Change it there and it will update on our side automatically.
Store and payments
What are Silver Credits (SC)?
The site's internal currency. Used to pay for account services.
What top-up methods are available?
RU cards and SBP via Freekassa, crypto and international cards via Exolutions. The actual list is shown on the top-up page.
When is the payment credited?
Automatically after the transaction succeeds, usually within a couple of minutes. If something went wrong, ping us on Discord.
Technical
System requirements?
4-core CPU, 16 GB RAM, SSD recommended. More memory means more stability.
The game crashes or freezes.
Close heavy apps before launching and make sure you have free disk space. If a freeze lasts longer than 10 minutes, restart the client.
Low FPS, what should I do?
Drop view distance to 6-8 in the game settings, turn off shadows, enable DLSS/FSR if available.
The server shows "offline".
Either planned maintenance (announced on Discord) or a technical issue. It usually comes back within 15-30 minutes.
