What we collect
When you use the silvername.gg site and game server we receive:
- From Steam OpenID - Steam ID, public nickname and avatar.
- From Discord/Twitch (when you link them) - external ID and profile name.
- Gameplay statistics - playtime, level, kills, deaths, session history.
- Technical data - IP address (for DDoS protection and audit), basic browser info.
- Payments - amount, method, transaction status. Card details are not stored on our side.
Why
- Sign-in and identity on the site and the server.
- Statistics sync between the game and the account page.
- Discord/Twitch linking for server roles and status display.
- Protection from bots and rule breakers.
- Processing payments and confirming transactions.
Storage and protection
- All connections to the site go over HTTPS.
- Discord/Twitch OAuth tokens are stored encrypted.
- Database access is limited to project administrators.
Gameplay statistics are kept indefinitely. Technical logs (IP, actions) are removed automatically after a limited retention period.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses a minimal cookie set:
- Session cookies for sign-in.
- Local settings (chosen language). Stored only by the browser.
We collect anonymized visit statistics (page views, referral sources) to improve the site. No advertising or cross-site trackers are used.
Third parties
Some features require external services:
- Steam (Valve) - OpenID sign-in.
- Discord (Discord Inc.) - linking and server roles.
- Twitch (Twitch Interactive) - streamer status linking.
- Payment providers - processing payments on their side.
Each service has its own policy. We are not responsible for data handling on their side.
Your rights
You can at any time:
- Unlink Discord and Twitch in your account.
- Request a copy of your data by contacting the administration.
- Delete your account and the associated data on request.
Policy changes
We may update this policy. Substantive changes are announced via:
- A banner on the site.
- An announcement on Discord and Telegram.
If you keep using the service after a policy update, that counts as your agreement to the new version.
